About me
Hi, I am Filippo, a generalist game designer.

I have worked for two years at Hyper Luminal Games, initially joining as a Junior Game Designer. I was promoted in September 2023 due to my significant contributions to the development of Pine Hearts and consistently high performance.
Throughout my tenure, I have gained meaningful experience and skills in the following areas of expertise:
-
General game design, including writing documentation and specifying features
-
Level design
-
Visual scripting
-
Bug fixing
-
Prototyping
-
Inter-departmental collaboration
-
Testing workflows and tools
Academically, I hold a Professional Master's in Games Development and an undergraduate degree in Game Design and Production. Additionally, I graduated from an architectural high school, providing me with a strong spatial framework that enhances my level design and spatial reasoning skills.
I was awarded the Hyper Luminal award for accessible design for my project "Accessibility in 2020-2021," which was also my dissertation (which can be found here). In October 2022, I was selected by NEoN Digital Arts to participate in an exhibition in a real physical gallery space as part of NEoN's programme, showcasing again my project related to accessibility.
"Outside of work, I enjoy assembling and painting miniatures and whittling wood as a way to take a break from screens and video games. I also spend time developing prototypes to enhance my skills and learn new tools, driven by my insatiable thirst for knowledge.

I do also play a lot of video games, ranging from tabletop RPG to twitch shooter, but that can be expected from a designer
